We are fundraising for our scholarship fund to assist students who experience financial need. We aim to raise $15,000 to address the current financial challenges experienced by students. Over the last year, scholarship requests have increased significantly, particularly as household budgets have been stretched, emphasizing the critical importance of our scholarship.

Students with intellectual and developmental disabilities encounter significant structural and attitudinal barriers to continuing their education.  We collaborate closely with each student to identify external scholarships and funding opportunities to cover the costs of tuition, fees, and books.

Even with our work to reduce barriers to funding we continue to receive individual scholarship requests ranging from $500 - $2,000 per student each term. This scholarship fund serves as a safety net of last resort, ensuring that no student who has embarked on the path through post-secondary education is forced to withdraw due to financial constraints.
