Founded in 1978, TEAD is a charitable organization that provides therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with physical and emotional disabilities.
Operating on a 98 acre horse farm in Mount Hope, Ontario, TEAD has a group of highly-skilled, nationally certified riding instructors; a network of more than 250 volunteers; a small, skilled and dedicated staff and a very active volunteer Board of Directors.
TEAD is a fully accredited therapeutic riding, training and examination facility and operates under the Safety and Operational Guidelines of both CanTRA (Canadian Therapeutic Riding Association) and OnTRA (Ontario Therapeutic Riding Association).
More than 300 special riders pass through TEAD each year.
