United Way of Newfoundland and Labrador is a charity's charity. As the largest funder of the social sector, second only to the government, United Way distributes funds to charities province-wide who are seeking financial support for various projects they are unable to fund independently.

Supporting United Way means you are directly supporting your province. Whether you contribute to one of three specific focus areas, or directly to the United Way Community Fund, your dollar will work harder as it will support not one, but dozens of charities across Newfoundland and Labrador.

We believe that it takes the whole community working together to change social conditions. Utilizing a large network of volunteers, our objective is to efficiently raise a significant amount of money and to direct it to charitable agencies that provide services to strengthen individuals, families and communities.
