A Voice4paws Canine Rescue Society is a not-for-profit, all breed, no-kill rescue organization with foster homes located throughout the Lower Mainland, BC, Canada.
Our aim is to find the best homes possible for dogs who have been neglected, abused, injured or surrendered for euthanization.
We are a BC Registered Non-Profit Society with a small group of dedicated volunteers. Our focus is on rescuing and rehabilitating homeless, at risk and injured dogs; assisting low-income dog and cat guardians; as well as educating the public on responsible dog guardianship.
A Voice4paws does not have a facility or shelter to house our rescues. We are 100% reliant on volunteer foster homes to care for and evaluate our dogs as they transition to their forever home.
Through proper vetting and training, we set up our dogs and their new families for success. Each dog that comes into our rescue is evaluated and a long-term plan is put in place for their health and overall well-being.
We generally do not adopt our dogs out right away. A foster-to-adopt period is required to ensure that the match is ideal for the dog and for the new adoptive guardian.
A Voice4paws relies solely on donations and fundraising to collect funds to pay our vet bills. 99% of all monies received go directly toward paying for our canine expenses. Rescued dogs require medical attention in differing degrees, depending on the level of abuse and neglect they have suffered. All dogs are spayed or neutered, and are up to date with their immunizations, before they go to their new homes.
