Our mission 

Montreal Fine Arts Academy (ACADEM) is dedicated to the teaching of drawing and painting according to classical methods adapted to the current practice of figurative art.

ACADEM is one of the rare schools in Canada to be approved by the Art Renewal Center. The Art Renewal Center is the foremost and only vetting service for skill-based visual art schools since 2002.

The ACADEM is open to everyone: the beginner, the advanced student and the artist in search of improvement, the person who wants to learn for leisure and the person who aims for a professional career. We design programs that meet everyone's goals, including children and adolescents for whom we develop specialized courses.

The ACADEM team cultivates, through its passion, generosity and competence, a personalized exchange with the student and a dialogue of appreciation of the arts with the general public.
