This project helps students from New Canadian families in the Ottawa area by supplying a backpack, lunch bag, pencil case, school supplies, reusable water bottles, and a personal care kit.
In August of each year, grade-appropriate kits are distributed to students from kindergarten to high school to help prepare them for the coming academic year.
These supplies allow the students to attend school with greater dignity and confidence, and thus help to contribute to their academic success.
A donation of $50 covers the cost of one Back-to-School kit.
