ACT Foundation

about

Empowering youth. Saving lives. Building safer and healthier communities.

The Advanced Coronary Treatment (ACT) Foundation is the national charitable organization dedicated to establishing free CPR and automated external defibrillator (AED) training programs for high school students across Canada.

ACT has empowered over 6.6 million youth with the skills and knowledge to save lives.

The ACT High School CPR and AED Program is built on ACT’s community-based model of partnerships and support, whereby CPR training mannequins and AED training units are donated to schools and teachers are trained (Train the Trainer model) to teach all students. Schools take ownership and maintain the program over the long term.

ACT’s goal is to see all youth graduate with the skills and knowledge to save lives. The program also has a strong health promotion component, encouraging youth to adopt healthy lifestyle habits.

Your donations make an impact:

     • Help equip high schools with mannequins and training resources

     • Support the expansion of the ACT High School CPR and AED Program into more communities across Canada.

Together, we can help more Canadian students graduate with essential lifesaving skills.
