Our Mission

Action Housing is a charitable organization devoted to assisting low-income individuals and families to find and maintain safe, affordable and adequate rental housing.

Our Objectives

To offer direct bilingual services to a socio-economically disadvantaged clientele in matters pertaining to housing by:

--> Managing one or more centres of access to housing services;

--> Keeping a diverse and qualified team of workers to better serve our clientele;

--> Maintaining an adequate and secure workplace;

--> Diversifying our funding base to render it more stable.

To sensitize the population to the reality of homelessness and the needs of the inadequately housed of Ottawa;

To valorize partnerships with community organizations and government;

To plan and promote housing-related projects, in particular those pertaining to the francophone community.
