Agape Table is witnessing a greater need for our services now, more than ever before. For 45 years, our organization has been committed to meeting the growing need for food and comfort among Winnipeg’s most vulnerable citizens, often from several rented spaces and church basements.
The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the limitations of our current facility. To best serve our guests, Agape Table needs a permanent home.
Our campaign, ‘A New Home for Agape Table’, marks a defining and exciting moment in our history. While we are grateful to the organizations that provided us with space over the years, our Board of Directors and staff recognize the need for a purpose-built facility. This will allow for increased food and supplies storage, the expansion of social programs and community resources, and the engagement with more volunteers to serve our guests.
