Our Mission
The Airdrie Rotary Festival of Performing Arts promotes the appreciation of music and speech arts by organizing and operating an annual festival that encourages amateur performers and students to participate and perform in a non-competitive environment, leading toward further personal growth and excellence.
About Airdrie Rotary Festival of Performing Arts
Teaching and learning is the focus of the Festival. Highly qualified adjudicators share the benefits of their training and experience in a workshop atmosphere. Entrants come away with new skills and ideas, as well as increased motivation and enthusiasm about their area of interest.
Performers from the following disciplines perform in our Festival; Piano, Vocal, Musical Theatre, Choral, Strings, Speech and Band/Instrumental. We focus on learning and teaching in a non-competitive environment.
Our Festival has been accepted into the Alberta Music Festival Association. Therefore, participants are eligible to compete at the Provincial Music Festival in Edmonton in May.
