The Alberta Craft Council (ACC) is recognized as a vibrant partner in Alberta's cultural landscape. As a charitable non-profit and one of nine Provincial Arts Service Organizations, we represent Craft artists and the craft sector across Alberta. For over 45 years, we have celebrated craft through exhibitions, publications, marketing initiatives, education, awareness projects, and information services for our members and the general public.

The ACC has a dual mission: to support contemporary and heritage craft as vital art forms that enrich Alberta's culture, and to foster a craft sector of creative, skilled, and sustainable artists, studios, businesses, and networks. 

Our galleries and social enterprise retail shops in Edmonton and Calgary showcase the work of emerging, mid-career, and established artists. Annually, we produce 15+ exhibitions, sell work from over 175 artists, and provide programming and support to more than 500 members. In addition, we offer public programming, including Craft Tours, career development consultations, webinars, community outreach, and ongoing advocacy for Alberta craft.
