Our Mission:
We are a registered charity established to save, preserve and develop the Leduc Grain Elevator Complex as an educational, historic site for future generations to enjoy.
The Leduc Heritage Grain Elevator is one of the last single composite wood crib elevators built in Alberta in 1978. It was operated up until 2000, when the Alberta Legacy Development Society was able to purchase it and save it from demolition. In 2003 it received Registered Historic Site status and has been operating as a museum ever since.
In November of 2017 the south warehouse was converted into an Interpretive Centre. The elevator is open for tours year round but visitors should be aware that the elevator proper is not heated.
