About ANS:
Albion Neighbourhood Services (ANS) has been in existence since 1971 and provides the following major departments:
1. Community Access: community information and referrals; community information database of government and non-profit services; case management (a wide range of multi-cultural individuals, families, groups of all ages); assistance with filling out forms, document replacement, preparing affidavits, commissioning oaths; income tax clinic; advocacy; sign-up location for Voice Mail Project — persons without addresses or telephones receive private phone number to retrieve messages from any touch tone phone; providing workshops on various community needs/issues (e.g. senior issues, Ontario works, Revenue Canada, Pensions, Housing Help, etc.).

 2. BGC Albion Club (Children and Youth Programs & Services): Our BGC Albion Club is a member of BGCC (formally known as Boys & Girls Club of Canada). BGC Albion Club programs and services offer a variety of social, recreational, educational, and creative programs and activities to children and youth ages 4-24 in a variety of community-based venues. These include breakfast clubs; after-class clubs; citywide inter Boys and Girls Club special events; literacy; creative arts and dance; sports leagues; parent support and education; leadership training; community development; violence prevention; and mentoring.

 3. Housing Services: Housing help services, volunteer trusteeship services, outreach services to persons who are homeless; mobile outreach van; housing search; counselling; information and referrals; matching tenants with landlords; eviction prevention; Rent Bank; landlord outreach and recruitment; housing vacancy listings; Rent Café, Subsidize Housing application; Energy Assistance Programs, sponsored by Enbridge Gas Distribution and United Way of Greater Toronto -- assistance to low income individuals and families who are in arrears for their natural gas utility bills and have exhausted all other sources of financial support.

 4. Community Development and Capacity Building: emerging community groups trusteeships;
