DÉFI SPORTIF ALTERGO
Since 1984, the Défi sportif AlterGo has held an annual adapted sport event presenting competitions at the school, development, and elite levels simultaneously. It also organizes year-round activities in order to multiply opportunities for physical activity for young people with functional limitations, promote their social inclusion, and the adoption of an active lifestyle.
THE DÉFI SPORTIF ALTERGO IS ORGANIZED BY ALTERGO
Created in 1975, AlterGo brings together more than 130 municipal recreation organizations and services in the greater Montreal area. AlterGo's mission is to support social inclusion, through the removal of barriers, to recreation, sport, and culture, for people with one of the 7 types of functional limitations: hearing, intellectual, motor, visual, language-speech, mental health, or autism spectrum disorders, regardless of their age.
