The Alzheimer Society of Thunder Bay is focusing its efforts on pivoting our services to be available remotely during this time. Given the current situation, we recognize care givers are under a tremendous level of stress as they face isolation and reduced community supports. We are responding by providing activity kits for people living with dementia, care partners, and seniors in isolation, to encourage stress management and regulation techniques. So far, we’ve reached 172 individuals with the kits.
