About Ambioterra

Ambioterra is a charitable organization. Its mission is to protect the environment using an integrated, ecosystem and community approach. Over the past ten years, Ambioterra has developed several projects to protect aquatic, riparian, wetland, agricultural and forest environments in Montérégie Ouest. These projects made it possible to improve the environmental portrait of the territory by carrying out wildlife and flora inventories and characterizations of the banks, water environments, wetlands and forests.

The conservation plans produced by Ambioterra in seven zones of Montérégie Ouest are additional planning tools made available to territorial stakeholders, such as municipalities and MRCs. Ambioterra supports private owners towards practices that are less damaging to fauna and flora, making it possible to reduce the degradation of natural resources essential to human communities. Finally, Ambioterra's expertise is made available to various stakeholders in the area who wish to obtain environmental consulting services.

Since 2022, the Suroît regional nursery project has allowed us to grow trees and shrubs for our various developments and make several tree donations in our territory!
