Our Mission

The purpose of Anchor Christian Homes is to provide long term support to adults with physical, social, mental or developmental disabilities with activities of daily living, personal care and participation in the community. Support is provided in an atmosphere of trust and respect, safeguarding the dignity and independence of our residents according to need and ability. It is our goal to assist our residents to lead a meaningful life as God’s covenant children in a caring Christian environment.

The Biblical mandate can be found in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 12. ‘Now the body is not made up of one part but of many...those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable.....its parts should have equal concern for each other. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.’

Anchor Christian Homes serves adults with a developmental disability. At this moment we serve over 35 residents who reside in 5 homes in southern Ontario.
