Our Mission

The purpose of Anchor Christian Homes is to provide long-term support to Reformed Christian individuals with disabilities in a supportive Christian environment with housing, activities of daily living, personal care and participation in the community.

Support is provided in an atmosphere of trust and respect, safeguarding the dignity and independence of our residents according to need and ability. It is our goal to assist our residents to lead a meaningful life as God’s covenant children in a caring Christian environment.

The Biblical mandate can be found in the Bible, 1 Corinthians 12. "... the body does not consist of one member but of many... the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable... God has so composed the body, giving greater honour to the part that lacked it, that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another... Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it."
