The AM in Canada promotes authentic, growing relationships with Jesus and one another that lead us to reach out to others in love. We are committed to graceful, organic and visionary service empowered by God’s Spirit and the raising, releasing and supporting of leaders for a variety of apostolic works.
AM Canada churches emphasize discipleship (getting to know and follow Jesus in a deeper way daily) and mission (reaching out to others who don’t yet know and follow Jesus).
We value diversity in expressing our faith, a faith that is rooted in our relationship with God, obedience to His Word, sensitivity to His Spirit and connections with other Christians historically, locally, regionally, and internationally.
Our approach to mission in the Anglican Mission will always seek to be simple, focused and deep in impact. Four key components of our approach include:
Discipling - Connecting people to God and each other to create a relational climate for raising up disciples of Jesus and equipping them to disciple others.
Evangelizing - Creating a culture where disciples and disciplers become missional in both lifestyle and practice.
Mentoring - Providing mentoring and coaching for leaders to equip and empower them for missional ministry and greater impact in God’s Kingdom work.
Planting - Raising up church planters and new congregations that emerge out of the discipling, missional ministry and the coaching of leaders and who are commited to reaching the 150 million people in North America who do not yet know and follow Jesus.
We provide a variety of resources for our congregations and their leaders to live out our mission, including annual conferences, support for church planters working with the AM in Canada, and more.
The AM in Canada currently has 12 member and affiliate congregations across the country: 7 congregations in B.C., 1 in Saskatchewan, 3 in Ontario, and 1 in New Brunswick. Find out more here.
