PreservationWorks! provides expert consultation on conservation and heritage projects in communities across Ontario to promote the preservation of at-risk buildings.
The Buildings at Risk Program publicizes the availability of heritage property for sale with a particular emphasis on vacant, at-risk historic buildings threatened by neglect, demolition or inappropriate alteration, and links prospective purchasers with suitable properties.
The annual Provincial Heritage Awards honours the work of Ontario’s architectural conservationists. Held in the fall, the awards dinner brings together architects, historians, conservation professionals, students, and heritage supporters.
ACORN Magazine published twice/year, shares articles about buildings and projects, conservation challenges and triumphs; stories of local heritage in communities across Ontario.
ACO’s NextGen is a heritage and sustainability group that is designed to meet the unique needs of students and emerging professionals who are interested in the field of built heritage and cultural landscapes.
