Creatrix Rising is a powerful healing arts program of Archway Society for Domestic Peace, created to support survivors of domestic and sexual violence as they explore their stories through creativity. From September to February, local artist mentors guide welcoming workshops in acrylic, watercolour, clay molding, encaustic, and more. These shared creative spaces offer moments of connection, self-expression, and healing.
Each spring, the Creatrix Rising Exhibit, opening March 7, 2026, celebrates the artists who choose to share their work with the community. Their pieces reflect resilience, courage, and the transformative power of being seen. The program was launched in response to women in Archway programs asking for opportunities to grow as artists and to share their voices, and it continues because art has a unique ability to support healing and hope.
