Arirang Age-Friendly Community Centre (AAFCC) has agreed with RYKKA Care Centres LP to become the purchaser of the Rose of Sharon Korean Long-Term Care Home in Toronto.
Rose of Sharon is Canada's first and only long-term care facility dedicated to providing culturally specific care to Canadian seniors of Korean heritage. We have begun the process of returning ownership of the Rose of Sharon home back to the Korean community. Ownership will fulfill our vision of Korean seniors living with respect and dignity. We are energized by this new chapter for the Korean-Canadian community.
Arirang is deeply grateful to our supporters and partners in the non-profit LTC community. We need continued and renewed fundraising support from all partner communities to ensure our Korean seniors live with respect and dignity.
