Community neighbours heroically bringing the lost and injured home

Arrowsmith Search and Rescue is a group of dedicated volunteers providing a vital lifeline to those who are lost or injured in the Arrowsmith region on Vancouver Island for the past 50 years. Our coverage ranges from Cook Creek to Lantzville, out to the east end of Cameron Lake to Jedidiah and Lasqueti Islands.

From the rugged wilderness to urban and shoreline searches, we put all of our skills and training towards keeping our community safe, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This includes our specialized teams of tracking, rope rescue, swift water rescue and UTV rescue.

We need and appreciate your help! 100% of your donation will support our search and rescue activities and the completion of our new Operations Centre located at the Qualicum Beach Airport.  This larger, modern facility with a central location, improved access, and 40-year lease will greatly improve our response to Oceanside residents and visitors.
