The Art of Living Foundation is an educational and humanitarian organization. For over 30 years we have been serving the Canadian community with programs to reduce stress and trauma, and help people live productive and happy lives. Time tested tools and techniques of meditation, yoga and special breathing techniques have helped millions of people worldwide.
Our programs are for people of all ages and working with youth is a priority for the Art of Living Foundation.
YES! programs for ages 14-18 and ART EXCEL for ages 8-13 provide tools to release stress, foster inner strength, nurture human values and leadership skills, and create a sense of belonging from which community projects and service grow.
The cornerstone of the program is unique breath-work and gentle, restorative yoga postures whcih directly impact physical and emtional stress, stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system that is responsible for healing and recharging the body. These techniques foster emotional stability, mental clarity, creativity, concentration, critial thinking and physical relaxation. Over a short time and with continued practice, students develop the ability to respond calmly and effectively in highly stressful situations.
The Foundation offers programs which reduce stress and increase belongingness for people of all ages, backgrounds, religions and traditions. These are offered in cities across Canada and at the International Center in St Mathieu-du-parc in Quebec. We look forward to welcoming you.
