The Arthur Erickson Foundation has been founded to honour the spirit of Arthur Erickson by:
• advancing education in, and understanding of, architecture and design and related history and philosophy;
• sustaining, where feasible, Arthur Erickson’s physical works, including his buildings and landscapes, his artwork, his writings, his photographs; and
• inspiring future generations to seek, as Arthur Erickson did, the deep understanding and aesthetic that informs great design
About ARTHUR ERICKSON FOUNDATION
The Arthur Erickson Foundation is a Canadian non-profit charitable society. Founded in 1997, it is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, with representation across Canada. The AEF focuses on public education regarding architecture and the legacy of Arthur Erickson through advocating the recognition and preservation of buildings designed by Arthur Erickson, maintaining for public view Arthur Erickson's personal house and garden and supporting and funding where possible those projects which will perpetuate his legacy through preservation of archival material, establishing scholarships, organizing lectures, mounting exhibitions and other related activities.
