Our Mission
Arts Etobicoke’s mission is to support local artists and develop accessible, meaningful arts experiences for the residents of Etobicoke and beyond.
About ARTS ETOBICOKE
At Arts Etobicoke, we believe that everyone should have access to art. Our free programs and services address the great need in Toronto for the creativity, mentorship, skill-development, excitement and friendship that high-quality arts education offer. Each year, we engage over 20,000 participants from Etobicoke and beyond, including the marginalized communities of Mabelle and North Etobicoke.
Operating funding for Arts Etobicoke comes from the City of Toronto and the Ontario Arts Council. Because this funding accounts for approximately 25% of our total income, fundraising is vital to our ongoing operations. The balance is raised through program revenues, memberships, foundations, corporate sponsorships, donations and fundraising.
