The Association Djiboutienne pour Autisme et autres besoins (ADAB), founded on July 19, 2020, is a Canadian charitable organization dedicated to:

• Promoting racial equality and helping prevent and counter prejudice, discrimination, bullying, and racism faced by Black families with children who have special needs. We offer educational services and activities based on an equitable, inclusive, and culturally responsive approach to support their socio-educational integration. We also provide workshops to increase public understanding and awareness of the rights of racial minorities.

• Promoting education by offering, primarily to Black families with children who have special needs, information sessions on the services and resources they are entitled to, online training, computer workshops, and access to sensory and computer equipment specially adapted for youth.

• Promoting physical, mental, emotional, and social health, primarily for Black families with children who have special needs, while strengthening their sense of belonging. This is achieved through workshops and training sessions led by health professionals, as well as group support programs.
