Our Mission
ATD Fourth World is an international movement that seeks and experiments ways to tackle the causes of poverty. We are conducting field activities that bring culture and the sharing of knowledge in very poor neighborhoods, and provoke meetings in between people from different environments. We develop projects that aimed to hear the voice, the experiential knowledge and the intelligence of people who live in poverty situations with the general population and policy makers. Borned in 1957, ATD Fourth World is today presents in more than 30 countries. He seats in many international organizations, which the United Nations, in order to recognize that poverty is a violation of human rights.
