AHB was founded by families in 2012 to provide social and recreation programs for adults on the spectrum. Today our network is 165 members-strong and serving families in Durham Region, Peterborough and surrounding areas too.
Our growing community expressed the need for a gathering space for families to network, share experiences and goals. And a dedicated program space, sensitive to member needs.
We are thrilled to announce our Autism Hub for adults on the spectrum and their families.
- made possible in partnership with the Municipality of Clarington, a steadfast supporter since our inception.
On January 1st, 2020 we will move into a 3,500 sq ft space on the second floor at 132 Church Street in Bowmanville, Ontario. The downtown, small town location was selected to inspire members to explore the greater community together.
