ACAF objective is to provide financial support for the building and operation of a 7,000 sq. ft. primary and junior secondary school with attached campus in rural Ghana in the village of Awaso. The school, in it’s 5th year of operation with over 260 students, and provides bussing in a 48 passenger bus to all children farther than 5 miles from the school, a dining hall detached from the school where two meals a day are prepared for the students and staff. There is a separate two-bedroom residence for the principal and his family as it is difficult to get certified teachers in rural Ghana. 

We have commenced a sustainable agricultural program to grow food, supplement the operating costs of the school, and generate revenues from the sale of vegetables and livestock. The first phase of this project was the vegetable farm, followed by a poultry/livestock program.
