A hallmark of the Harold & Grace Baker Centre is the generosity and caring of the many volunteers and donors who support the centre. “Sharing the Caring” is a theme that has resonated with the community over many years. The Baker Centre Health Care Foundation was established with a mission of raising funds for the Harold & Grace Baker Centre.

About BAKER CENTRE HEALTH CARE FOUNDATION

Nestled in a quiet area of western Toronto, the Harold & Grace Baker Centre is a 91-room Retirement Residence and a 120-bed Long Term Care Centre. The Retirement Residence provides an environment where residents enjoy a fulfilling, safe and happy life. The Long Term Care Centre is for people requiring daily nursing care. The Baker Centre is managed by Revera Inc., one of Canada’s leading providers of seniors’ accommodation, care and services and is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors.

As a not-for-profit organization, the Harold & Grace Baker Centre often has to rely on the generosity of others in order to replace aging equipment, undertake building maintenance projects and to be able to offer certain programs. The Baker Centre Health Care Foundation was established with a mission of raising funds for the Harold & Grace Baker Centre. A volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the Foundation.
