Our Mission To provide food assistance to residents of the Memphrémagog RCM who are in need in order to help improve their living conditions. BAM’s activities are based on these values: respect, integrity, efficiency, and altruism. About Us Since 1991, the Memphrémagog Food Bank (BAM) has been a nonprofit last-resort center. In 2024-2025, BAM collected nearly 198 191 kg of food from over 22 suppliers and redistributed it to 871 households, 17 organizations, and 1 school in the Memphrémagog RCM. 8 employees 70 volunteers (more than 6 500 hours) Over 1 784 people assisted each year through our social grocery service Nearly 5 140 food relief packages distributed annually Nearly 5 124 snacks offered in schools 1 055 Christmas baskets; not counting all the complementary services to help families get by! This makes our organization the main actor in the Memphrémagog RCM to ensure food security for citizens, 52 weeks a year. To accomplish its mission, BAM must rely on the precious collaboration of its partners, organizations, local businesses, and the entire community of the RCM. Job loss, serious illness, separation, death, road accidents… no one is safe from food insecurity.
