Our vision is to foster a community where every child, youth and family has equal access to extracurricular programs. We strive to reduce financial barriers that may prevent children and youth from participating in enriching activities. We know that when children and youth have equal access to the enrichment offered by out-of-school programing they lay down a solid foundation for a bright and independent future. This access equips them with the skills needed to engage fully in our community and become the leaders of tomorrow.

We provide annual grants to schools in Burnaby and New Westminster to enhance out-of-school enrichment and leadership programs. Community School Coordinators, Principals, and Connect Workers are responsible for organizing these initiatives and utilize BASES funding to finance the programs.

In addition to your generous donations we run BASES Family Thrift Store at  #101 - 1001 Columbia Street in New Westminster, BC, Canada to raise funds to finance this vision.
