The Battle River Community Foundation was created by residents of municipalities in Camrose and Flagstaff Counties, including the city, towns, villages and rural areas, to serve as a conduit between the long term charitable intentions of donors and existing or emerging needs in their communities.
The Foundation’s primary purpose is to accept donations, invest the donations and distribute the investment income according to the wishes of donors expressed at the time the donations are made.
Since its establishment in 1995, over $9,308,006 has been granted to charities and municipalities which are encouraged to consider the Foundation as a source of funding for projects and activities related to education, health and well-being, arts and culture, recreation and more.
