During this time of crisis the children and youth in our community no longer have the opportunities they had prior to COVID-19. Boys & Girls Clubs of The Battlefords is trying to ensure that their nutritional needs remain met. From 1:00pm - 3:00pm Monday to Friday we are providing a bagged snack and lunch to the children/youth in our community that are members of our Club. If a child/youth is not currently a member we are happy to assist them in registering with us to take advantage of this service. We also have various donated items from our community such as snacks, clothing, activities for the kids, and frozen meals for suppers for the families. BGCB has also purchased some cleaning supplies for our member's families that we are sending home as they are needed. We continue to try and meet the needs of our families but from a safe distance. We allow only one family into a sectioned off portion of our facility at a time and make sure any surface is completely sanitized prior to allowing the next family member to enter our building.
