Great ideas exist everywhere, but access to the resources needed to turn them into successful businesses does not.
The B&D Honig Foundation supports the Centre for Research on Community-Oriented Entrepreneurship (CRCE) at McMaster University, advancing inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship through research, education, and global partnerships.
Your donation helps turn knowledge into action and ideas into lasting impact.
What Your Donation Supports
1. Mentorship & Entrepreneurship
Through Reframery, CRCE provides business education and mentorship to underserved entrepreneurs. Partners such as Kenya's Bar Hostess Empowerment and Support Programme (BHESP) connect this work with women building businesses and pursuing financial independence.
2. Refugee Support
Working with organizations such as RefuSHE, CRCE helps refugees and displaced individuals access entrepreneurial skills, resources, and pathways toward economic stability.
3. Research & Innovation
CRCE produces academic research, field studies, and publications that examine the role of entrepreneurship in addressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.
4. Students & Communities
CRCE engages students in applied research and community projects, developing future leaders while strengthening partnerships with organizations locally and internationally.
