About:

The family, friends, classmates, and teammates of Will Bouchard lost someone very near and dear to their hearts on May 22nd, 2011.  Will was a loving child, a loyal friend and a supportive teammate. He was a role model for academic excellence, loyal friendship, and passion for living.  His Foundation has been established to keep him alive in our thoughts and in our hearts while trying to bring some good from a terrible tragedy.  The Fund will provide financial assistance in the form of bursaries, grants, scholarships, and donations to charities focused on 11-15 year old children and helping families deal with the grief associated with the loss of a child.   Some of these include Alberta Children's Hospital, KidSport Alberta, Fernie Freestyle Ski Team Members,  Alberta Health Services Grief Support Programs, Dare to Care (an anti-bullying program run through schools), and Banded Peak School.  With your generous support the foundation will channel your tax deductable donations to  these and other charities to be detrmined by input from visitors to this site.
