Best for Kitty is a non-profit, registered charity dedicated to rescuing kittens and cats in the Rainy River District. It has been in operation since October of 2019, and is run entirely by a small number of passionate volunteers who are dedicated to finding the best possible homes for the felines in our care.
We focus on stray and abandoned cats by providing veterinary care which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter (when age appropriate), de-worming, ear mite treatment and assessment of overall health of the animals we rescue. Once vetted, the cats are placed for adoption.
Our vision is to reduce the number of homeless and abandoned cats, by providing them with a safe, warm and loving foster home.
We strive to educate the public on the need to spay and neuter and promote responsible pet ownership.
