Our Mission

The Vision

On February 9, 1994, Beth Tikvah's Executive and Professional Staff came together to clarify the values underlying their involvement at the synagogue as well as to develop a vision for Beth Tikvah. All participants worked very hard at understanding each other's viewpoints and achieving consensus. The following was unanimously endorsed as a draft statement of the vision to be presented to the Board. The Board unanimously endorsed the Vision Statement in May 1994.

"Beth Tikvah is a vibrant, forward-looking Conservative synagogue dedicated to fostering spiritual and Judaic growth and fulfillment through meaningful ritual activities and exciting educational programmes. We are a sensitive and caring congregation, attractive to all ages and responsive to the individual needs of our members. Our dynamic leadership, effective lay-professional partnership and prudent financial planning provide a strong foundation for the future."
