At Bethany, we seek to create an environment that will support each other in a loving atmosphere, and where we can share our faith, our abilities and our resources. We gather around fellowship, worship, learning and community outreach ministry. Environmental Stewardship is an important value to Bethany and we continue to adapt our building & property to best utilize these resources.
We belong to the Nith Valley Ministry Area in the Eastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church In Canada and are in full communion with the Anglican Church of Canada.
Bethany is involved in Refugee Resettlement through sponsorship of recommended refugee families. Currently, we have successfully resettled one family from a refugee camp in Thailand, acclimating another family from the same camp under difficult Covid 19 restrictions and our 3rd family successfully arrived late October and is settling in and preparing for a "Canadian winter".

Our Building Fund goes towards maintaining and improving the facilities. Bethany's facilities are used by the neighborhood community for birthdays, anniversaries, and other socials, service clubs for meetings and gatherings and our Health Board approved kitchen for food preparation and teaching. In 2019, Bethany introduced an activity day for elementary age children for the Thames Valley School Board Professional Activity days.
Our newest fund - Vision 2020 - is dedicated to the future use of our land and building in light of our aging population and the increasing need for affordable housing and/or care facilities. Bethany's Vision committee will engage necessary assistance and personnel and handle associated costs. Currently we are in negotiation to create affordable seniors housing on part of the vacant property.
Your support of any of our 4 funds is appreciated.
