We will provide diverse mentoring programs that meet both the needs and interests of children and youth in our community through our dedicated volunteers and staff.
About Our Charity
Big Brothers Big Sisters Kingston, Frontenac, Lennox and Addington connects trained adult mentors (Big Brothers/Sisters) with Kingston-and-area youth ages 6 to 16.
Big Brothers Big Sisters Traditional Mentoring: Young people 6 to 16 years-old spend one-on-one time with an adult mentor.
In-School Mentoring: Children 6 to 16 spend one-on-one time once weekly with an adult mentor at the child's school.
Go Girls: A 7-10 week group mentoring program for girls age 12-14 that focuses on physical activity, balanced eating and self-esteem.
Game on: A 7 week group mentoring program provides boys and young men with information and support to make informed choices about healthy lifestyle practices.
