Match Makers are a group of dedicated monthly donors who have committed to supporting mentoring in our community.

They make it possible for children and youth to be matched with caring mentors, participate in in-school mentoring programs and allow Big Brothers Big Sisters of Niagara Falls to financially support future volunteer mentors through the initial screening and training process.  

We proudly have more children matched with mentors, and have more programs in local schools, than at any point in our organizational history.

But with success comes challenges. Making and supporting one match through its first year costs $1,000 and while funding streams lack dependability our capacity to support our matches and programs is tested as the need increases. 

We believe that by changing the course of young lives we can in turn be changing the course of a community’s future. 

We believe that opening a child’s eyes to what is – opens their mind to what could be.
