As the boyhood home of William Avery 'Billy' Bishop, our mission is to preserve and promote the legacy of our rich local history through programs, exhibits, and community involvement.
Billy Bishop Home: Museum, Archives and National Historical Site is a public institution dedicated to conserving the Victorian home the Bishop Family and boyhood home of Billy Bishop. This will be achieved by excellence in exhibitions focusing on Victorian Life, the Bishop Family, Billy Bishop, Military and Historical events.
The Museum’s exhibitions, collection, and publications will reflect historical and, when applicable, contemporary expression, both regionally and nationally, and will promote the energy and reckless free spirit that Billy Bishop embodied.
The Museum will also strive to ensure that the coming generations will continue to honour and remember the sacrifices made by all Veterans.
