The Blenheim Youth Centre (BYC) welcomes youth aged 10-18 from Blenheim and surrounding areas to participate in programming designed to provide them with the skills (emotionally, mentally, physically) needed to grow into well rounded adults equipped to be active, contributing members of our community. Our centre is drop-in based and costs nothing for youth members to attend. We are open 5 days a week afterschool as well as through the summer months and our programs have 5 main focuses including recreation and leisure, life skill development and leadership, arts and culture, education and employment, and civic engagement. The BYC is a safe environment, supervised by trained, professional, and responsible staff and we are well-known around our community for the consistent effort and dedication given to our youth.
