How does your donation help?
Every donation, no matter the amount, supports our mission of improving food security for vulnerabe people. Your generosity helps us, for example, deliver meals to seniors with limited autonomy, run collective cooking programs for parents of young children, and distribute fresh fruits and vegetables every week to families facing food insecurity.
Collective Cooking Programs
Our collective kitchens bring people together to prepare affordable, healthy, and tasty meals they can take home. We offer ongoing groups as well as specialized cooking programs tailored to seniors, people with reduced mobility, individuals living with degenerative illnesses or mild intellectual disabilities, and people who are blind or visually impaired.
Family and Early Childhood Workshops
Our family and early childhood programs support parents, expectant mothers, and young children. These workshops are designed to meet families’ real needs by offering hands-on support with meal preparation—from pregnancy until children reach the age of 12. They also provide a welcoming space for connection and mutual support, where parents can share experiences, build practical skills around family nutrition, and take a well-deserved break while their children are cared for on site.
Collective Gardens
Our collective gardens give community members the opportunity to learn how to garden, develop horticultural skills, and strengthen social skills such as independence, respect, and cooperation. Participants share responsibility for planning, seasonal tasks, and harvesting the crops. We offer adapted gardening sessions for parents with their children, seniors, and people with reduced mobility, as well as intergenerational groups.
Food Logistics Hub
The Food Logistics Hub focuses on recovering, repurposing, and distributing unsold food from local grocery stores and food businesses. Each week, the Hub supplies fresh fruits and vegetables to 2,000 households through various food assistance sites. Since the project launched in 2020, more than 800 tons of food have been rescued from going to waste.
