OUR IMPACT AT A GLANCE
Bouge de là remains to this day one of the rare Quebec dance companies dedicated exclusively to children. Active in the cultural scene for more than 20 years, Bouge de là has developed a unique expertise in reconciling artistic creation and pedagogy. It owes this specificity to its founder and artistic director, Hélène Langevin, who has developed a deep affinity with children by working closely with them in her practice as a creative dance teacher for nearly four decades.
20 years after its foundation, Bouge de là has complete: 8 shows, 1,275 performances, 2 international tours (China and Mexico), 1 educational and artistic game (26 cartes à danser), 1 CALQ Award for Best Choreographic Work 2018-2019 (À travers mes yeux –Prix de la danse de Montréal 2019), more than 3 600 dance initiation workshops and hundreds of thousands of children reached.
