Bowmanville Older Adult Association supports approximately 1850 seniors per year that access services, with over 200 seniors on site daily.  We support approximately 250-300 volunteers, many of whom are seniors.  The Association partners by offering Nursing Foot Care, Tax Clinics, Hearing Clinics, Blood Pressure Clinics, Vaccination Clinics and Elder Abuse Awareness Projects.  Bowmanville Older Adult Association is fully accessible and has supports for individuals with hearing challenges through our Hearing Loops System.  Our transportation - Wheels in Action offers fully accessible rides to and from the centre for older adults in the community.  Bowmanville Older Adult Association (2015-present), formerly known as the Clarington Older Adult Centre Board (1985-2015) is a Federally incorporated registered charity that offers social activities, recreational and educational programs for older adults.  Bowmanville Older Adult Association provides programs, events, food programs and activities for seniors in the community.  Our space is open and provides meeting space to community partners such at the Lion's Club, Rebekah Lodge, Alzheimer's Society and COPE Mental Health.
