Our Mission:  Empower children and youth to develop confidence and skills for life through knowledge, healthy relationships and quality experiences.

The BGC Red Deer & District provides barrier free accessible programs and services for more than 1,500 children and youth annually. The agency is lead by a community based Board of Directors, a dedicated staff team supported by more than 250 caring adult volunteers.  Programs and services include community based after school programs, small group clubs, youth leadership, social and recreational opportunities, adventure based life skills programs, summer residential camps, community day camps, 24/7 youth emergency shelter, and a variety of outreach services and community access links.
