The Concussion Podcast

The purpose of The Concussion Podcast — hosted by Amy Tom — is to educate people about concussions and what happens to the brain when someone experiences head trauma. This show supports and educates people who are experiencing concussions, as well as family and friends about concussion support.

Help The Concussion Podcast raise $15,000 for concussion awareness and support

Concussions are an “invisible illness” that affect individuals, families, and friends throughout the country. Concussion is also under-reported due to lack of awareness, difficulty to diagnose, and the fractured nature of concussion reporting across medical and military sectors. Only 200,000 concussions are recorded in Canada annually – but the real number is much higher.

The Concussion Podcast has set a goal of raising $15,000, with all funds going to Brain Injury Canada for the development of online concussion resources to provide education and support, as well as raise awareness about the prevalence and challenges of living with concussion.

All donations will be provided with a tax receipt.
