Brandon Riverbank Inc. is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to developing the Assiniboine River Corridor as a gathering place, connecting people with nature in Brandon, Manitoba. The Assiniboine River Corridor winds through the heart of this prairie city, amassing a 700-acre greenspace that features parks, pathways, natural interpretation areas and the Riverbank Discovery Centre. This facility is the tourism centre for Brandon and southwestern Manitoba, the interpretive heart of the River Corridor and our community's gathering and celebration space. In the past two years, Brandon Riverbank Inc., in partnership with the City of Brandon, has adopted the 'Back to the River' Master Plan which is a realistic roadmap for the re-development of this special greenspace following two devastating floods. The Plan will re-build and re-imagine this greenspace for our community's use and enjoyment in every season and is built on the guiding principles of creating a community space focusing on education, recreation and celebration.
