Many people in the DRC live in poverty, it is estimated that around 64% of the total population of DR Congo live on less than $2.15 USD a day. By donating, you are allowing a woman in need to have a sustainable and repeatable source of income for her family. Our Give-A-Goat initiative selected 15 women by partnering with local village chiefs in the DRC to decide the best local families to receive these animals. By donating between 25-100 you are providing either feed, care items, or training books to be able to be bought to support this cause. Your donations will pay for the animal, any care that is needed over the course of multiple years, payments for training required, and necessities to further breed the goats.
